MarkAnthony L. Guyton, managing partner of Strategic Consulting Partners, is an experienced Entrepreneur and community leader with a mission to equip professionals and other entrepreneurs in building successful businesses and streamlining operations for profitability by following SCP proven principles and strategies. Known for his enthusiasm and business strategies, Mr. Guyton has emerged as the new "go to person" in business consulting.

With a degree in Criminal Justice, Business and Human Resources, Mr. Guyton acquired much of his security expertise during his combined 12 years in State Law Enforcement and commercial Loss Prevention as well as over 15 years of business expertise running his private security staffing company while developing and establishing new businesses relationships and strategic alliances nationwide. He worked as a Shift Supervisor Correctional Officer for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and as the Chief Executive Officer for Protection Corporation of America. In both roles, he has successfully created, implemented and managed operations systems and personnel accountability.

Mr. Guyton also uses his expertise in his community, partnering with numerous non-profits and serving on several boards. He has created and managed mentoring programs that have successfully targeted inner-city youths in public housing, schools and neighborhoods through security contracts and community involvement. Over the years he has received much recognition for his entrepreneur work and dedication. In March 2002, he was featured in Black Enterprise Magazine for "Answering the Call" of Security Demands. He was awarded the Minority Business Development Center's Outstanding Young entrepreneur Award in 1998 as well as the Lou Ketchum Small Business Achievement Award in 2000. He has been featured in several local and national newspapers for his business development efforts and has served as guest speaker for various Business Showcase and Supplier Spotlight events thru the Oklahoma Minority Supplier Development Council.
